This utility is a COM add-in or add-in (.xla) programmed in Microsoft® Visual Basic® for Application (VBA) that inserts printed watermark in Microsoft® Excel® 2002(XP), 2003, 2007, and 2010 sheets. It is not a workaround. It functions equal or better than the "Printed Watermark" command of the Word. Moreover inserting pictures, it permits still to position, change colors, change size, copy between sheets of opened and closed workbooks, and much more. Watermark normally is a ghosted text picture that is behind the content on the printed page. This is often used to indicate that a printed document is to be treated as specially, such as DRAFT, URGENT or CONFIDENTIAL. Pictures saved in several file formats (gif, jpg, bmp, etc.) can too be used to improve the aesthetics and to personalize printed documents. It consists of only one file, the ExcelWatermark.dll, which is about 270 kb in size and can be installed automatically. Except for the DLL, no another setting is saved in the Microsoft® Windows® Register. Its setting is saved in ExcelWatermark.ini file that is created and maintained by the proper utility. You can uninstall it totally and automatically, leaving no mess on your Windows Register or disc. Features:- The watermark can be any picture of saved file with format known by Excel (*.emf; *.wmf; *.jpg; *.jpeg; *.jfif; *.jpe; *.png; *.bmp; *.dib; *.rle; *.gif; *.bmz; *.gfa; *.emz) - Texts like DRAFT, CONFIDENTIAL, URGENT or any other wished can be inserted too as watermark - Especially in Excel 2007 or 2010, watermarks can be inserted differently on the first page, on the odd pages, and on the even pages - Without exit from inclusion forms, it is possible: adjust color, brightness, contrast, position and size picture; setup the page, changing the paper size, margins etc.; change printer and preview the print - In a same run is possible to insert watermark on any of the sheets in any of the open workbooks or copy from a sheet to any other sheet of any open workbook or all at once - The copy process can advance more when it permit, without exit from the form, create new sheets and workbooks or open and close one workbook or a lot already saved on the disk - When copy watermark between sheets, optionally, page and print settings can be copied too - A watermark previously inserted can be duly deleted thru the utility or thru the Excel menu, see how soon below - After installed, the utility is call from Excel Format Menu > Sheet Submenu > Printed Watermark Command or, on the Excel 2007 or 2010, from Ribbon > Page Layout Tab > Watermark Button. Tested in the Microsoft Excel for Windows, versions 2002(XP), 2003, 2007, and 2010.
